Leveraging his rich experience and expertise, Adrian actively participates in board and committee roles with purpose-driven, values-centric organisations. In these capacities, he is recognised for his invaluable contributions to strategy development and implementation, capital investment governance and management, and risk management.

​Lockyer Valley Regional Council

Lockyer Valley Regional Council is a local government between Ipswich and Toowoomba in Southeast Queensland and is home to more than 42,000 residents and 3000 businesses.​

  • Independent Member - Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC) (June 2022 to present). The ARMC is an advisory committee of Council and is directly responsible to Council to provide independent monitoring and review of financial statements, risk management, internal controls, internal audit, external audit, compliance, fraud, and corruption control.
  • Independent Member – ICT Steering Committee (June 2022 to present). The Committee has oversight of the strategic direction of the Information Communication Technology activities of Council ensuring services are focussed on and aligned with business requirements and enable Council to deliver sustainable services that enhance the liveability of the community.

​Fraser Coast Regional Council: Independent Member – Wide Bay Water and Waste Services (WBWWS) Advisory Committee (September 2023 to November 2024)
Fraser Coast Regional Council is a local government authority area of 7,125km2 and has a population of more than 115,000 residents.

The WBWWSAC is an advisory committee of Council that provides governance oversight and performance monitoring across two significant business activities of Council - being:
  • Wide Bay Water which is a commercial business unit of Council providing water and sewerage services to the Fraser Coast.
  • Fraser Coast Waste which is a commercial business unit of Council that provides waste management services including kerbside waste and recyclables collection and landfill/transfer station operations.

​The WBWWSAC specifically provides independent oversight, insights and advice across strategic planning, performance management, technical guidance, and communication for both the water and waste capital portfolios and operations.

Seqwater: Independent Chair - Major Projects Steering Group & Expert Governance Advisor 
​(April 2021 to present)
Seqwater is the Queensland Government statutory authority responsible for delivering safe, secure and cost-effective bulk drinking water for over 3 million people across SE Qld. It has $12 billion of water supply assets under management, and an extensive capital works program comprising construction of new assets and sustaining capital activities.
​

The Major Projects Steering Group purpose was to provide objective governance and assurance role for major projects – specifically advice, insight, leadership, recommendations and where necessary direction, from planning, business case development, project delivery to handover into operations.

PwC Foundation: Board Member

(August 2021 to February 2023)
The Foundation is a charitable trust, funded by individual donations from partners and staff of PwC Australia. The Foundation distributes funds in line with the firm’s Corporate Sustainability strategy. This strategy aims to make a positive impact on a range of social and environmental challenges.
The Board focusses on distributing funds to address selected significant social and sustainability issues, and since 2003 has distributed more than $12m of philanthropic funding to charities and disaster relief efforts.

Australian Digital Health Agency: Independent Member - Program Direction Committee 
(Oct 2019 to June 2020)
The Australian Digital Health Agency is a Commonwealth agency tasked with improving health outcomes for Australians through the delivery of digital healthcare systems (including My Health Record).

The Program Direction Committee was the peak governance body for the agency's strategic transformation and technology programs and projects.

Queensland Rail: Independent Member - Capability Improvement Board
(October 2016 to November 2017)
Queensland Rail Projects Division is a specialist 200-person internal business providing project, program and portfolio management services across the Queensland Rail capital portfolio.
​

The Capability Improvement Board oversaw the design and implementation of enhanced project and program management practices within the Queensland Rail Projects Division.
